Hotchkiss Insurance’s core business is based on over 45 years of service and experience providing protection to clients in a range of industries, including residential home building, commercial construction, trade contractors, manufacturing, distribution, restaurant and hospitality, retail and more.
This knowledge and experience has resulted in endorsements from several statewide associations of our business insurance programs. Our clients often consider us a member of their external board of directors as we often counsel our clients in some of their most important business decisions.
We believe our core values and behaviors, which we’ve defined as “The Hotchkiss Way,” have been a major driving force in maintaining strong employee retention. From the time Doug Hotchkiss established the agency in 1975, we have been driven to protect people — to help others when they are in need. Of course, we view our daily work as a part of that mission of providing protection in a world of unknowns, but we also contribute our time, effort and financial support to worthy causes and people in our community through Hotchkiss Helps, our charitable arm.
