On March 25, 2024 at Las Colinas Country Club in Irving, Texas we had a day of golf, camaraderie, and making a difference in the lives of our true heroes! The Hotchkiss Helps charity golf tournament was proud to support Operation Finally Home, an organization that provides mortgage-free homes, home modifications, and transitional housing to wounded, ill and injured military veterans, first responders and their families. Together we raised over $100,000!
Founded in 2005 by a Texas home builder, an industry we are honored to be a part of, Operation Finally Home is a non-partisan/non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. To date, they have completed over 389 home projects in more than 33 states, honoring the service and sacrifice of our heroes. By partnering with corporate sponsors, builders, remodelers, and volunteers, Operation Finally Home addresses one of the most pressing needs of our veterans and first responders—a safe place to call home.
While serving others is woven into the fabric of our organization, so is having fun. We enjoy what we do, who we work with and we have fun thinking of ways to support those in need.
As a part of Hotchkiss Helps, we have cooked and served thousands of meals at a yearly Thanksgiving lunch for the military, sorted and organized clothing donations, served meals to Harvey relief workers, and raised funds for important causes like cancer research by hosting cornhole tournaments, setting up dunking booths and throwing pies in our colleagues’ faces — all for a good cause, of course!
Each Thanksgiving, the Hotchkiss team serves a Thanksgiving meal to 50 trainees from Lackland Air Force base in San Antonio to show our appreciation for their service.
We’re proud to support incredible charities each year. We've raised $33,040 for Soldiers’ Angels, which provides aid, comfort, and resources to the military, veterans, and their families.
Hotchkiss Insurance is dedicated to enriching the communities we call home. The Hotchkiss team devotes a large chunk of their time every year for various community projects.
